Dr. Kedar is an MD of Gynecology and has bee in practice for the last eleven years and has worked with thousands of infertile patients using close personal care and leading medical technology.
He focuses on more challenging infertility situations including male infertility, women with diminished ovarian reserves, women over 40, sub endometrial blood flow, and failed implantation.
Dr. Kedar had been a consultant fertility physician for six years at the Department of Assisted Reproductive technology and stem cell research at Regenesis-Reliance Life Sciences, Mumbai. Initially he worked as Clinical Associate in the Department of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics, Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai.
He held the post of Lecturer at K. B. Bhabha Hospital where he did a joint clinical research in collaboration with University Hospital, Sweden. During that time he was also instrumental in helping found their successful IVF program.
He was honored with the post of infertility officer in the year 1996 and started systematic evaluation of Infertile couples, different ovulation induction protocols, transvaginal -sonography and sonohysterographies.
He is an accomplished clinical researcher and author of numerous articles at National and International Publications on infertility.
He was awarded an FOGSI Ethicon Fellowship for the year 1997, FOGSI Imaging Modality Science Award 1998, Bombay Obstetrics & Gynecological Society, Dr. N. K. Allahbadia Prize 1999, Bombay Obstetrics & Gynecological Society, and the Dr. S. K. Bhansali Prize 2003.
He was selected by Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) & International Federation Fertility Societies (IFFS) as a part of visiting international fellow program for the year 2005. He was awarded traveling fellowship to Canada at Ottawa and the Royal College at Montreal on the basis of his pioneering work in the field of Infertility. He has also been awarded many prizes for his presentations and the posters on the scientific research papers in Reproductive medicine. Recently in 2007 he was titled senior scientist for his path breaking research on endometrial blood flow and implantation failure.
He has been a member of Bombay Obstetrics and Gynecological Society (BOGS) since 1993, member of Managing Committee of the MOGS, Life time member of FOGSI, Member of European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), and lifetime member of Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction (ISAR).
He is a skilled practisoner of all aspects of infertility care. Through his third party Reproduction program by donor egg IVF and Surrogacy, many infertile couples from India and abroad have been fortuante to successfully start their families.
