Buttock Lift + Prosthesis Surgery

Procedure Description

A buttock lift is a foreign concept to some people; to those who have been self-conscience about a flat, drooping rear-ends, it is a medical revolution. In a buttock lift, excess fat and loose skin in the buttock area can be reduced by performing a buttock lift in combination with lipoplasty (liposuction). Incisions required for skin removal can often be hidden in the fold beneath the buttocks. There are a variety of methods for this procedure; when you arrive in Panama, the team at Hospital Punta Pacifica, will help you to choose the right one for you.

The Procedure

There are different buttock lift methods and procedures that can be employed based on the needs of the patient. Liposuction, implants, and lifts are all used to sculpt the buttock region into a desired shape. During a buttock lift, excess skin is removed and the buttock is raised to a higher position on the body. In combination with a lift, some patients desire an augmentation that utilizes implants. This additional procedure may be performed at the same time or a later date.
