Born in India, no where to belong

It’s been two years since German surrogate twins Leonard and Nikolas were born, but German they are citizens of no country. Their fate is stuck in legal battle. According to German laws surrogacy is not recognized as a means of parenthood while the Centre will not allow the babies to be taken back as Indian citizens.

Speaking exclusively to TIMES NOW, Jan Balaz, the father of the stateless twins on Friday (December 18) made a passionate plea to get his children back. "I just want my children back home with my wife and children." he said.
