Comments

A June, 2008, posting on the Thaivisa blog from a U.K. patient that received his long awaited angioplasty at Bumrungrad. Comments were very positive and include:
"first rate treatment"
"super attentive care"
"completely painless procedure"

The bill came to 147,900 Bhat.

A follow-up post provides more detail on the bill:

"The cost breakdown of the Bumrungrad bill shows 66,000 baht for medical supplies and this includes the stent. Doctors fees were 35,000 and the next largest sum was 25,000 for use of the cath lab. 9,000 for medicine, 5,800 for a room in CCU and 4,400 for nursing services - then it's minor amounts for the remaining items."

Most of the commenters seemed to agree that this was on the low end of costs for the operation. Bumrungrads published figures also show the average cost is closer to 260,000 Bhat.
